Is a locksmith cheaper than a Ford dealer?
Usually yes, and the larger difference is time — a dealer typically wants the vehicle brought to them and quotes days, while we come to the car and finish on site. For Ford we originate keys in-house, so a dealer trip is not needed.
My Ford key has started sticking in the ignition. Is that the key?
